NEWS (August 7th 2001)-
It seems ages since I last updated the site. Well, in that time OxyMoron lead guitarist and songwriter Luke Nicholas has had a new nickname, and he has also written lyrics and most of the music for 2 new songs.
You can check out the lyrics to the 2 new songs on the discography page. More lyrics will be uploaded soon.
Luke's new nickname is Fyre. Dave (Fish) may also be getting a new nickname soon.

NEWS (July 24th 2001)-
I've decided to remove the interviews to the right and left within the next few weeks. They are taking up too much space. If you want to keep the interviews then print them out, or write to me and i'll send you printed versions (along with some freebies). Oh, in other news, i've completed a new piece of A4 artwork. Limited edition pieces of artwork done by me will be on sale on the official site soon. If you'd like more work on my artwork or my solo projects then please write or e-mail me.

NEWS (July 23rd 2001)-
Oxymoron Line-up turmoil: We've had problems during rehearsals and meetings in the past 5 days. Due to these problems we've experienced utter chaos line-up wise. At the moment i can't confirm who is in or out of the band although i can confirm that myself (Snow), Dave (Fish), and both Stepens (Arf and Stylus) are all here. I'm sure the problem will be resolved soon.
Meanwhile, some better news is that the official site at:

IINTERVIEW WITH LUKE NICHOLAS (7TH AUGUST 2001)

WM: What can you tell us about these 2 new songs you've written?

LN: They're not finished yet. The lyrics and guitar are complete, but I need to consult the other band members about the drumline, the order and style of vocals etc.

WM: Apparently, the new songs both have a meaning?

LN: Yes, Ichkeria (which is literally the word Chechnya in the Chechen langauge) is all about the terrible events which are happening in Chechnya at the moment. We really need to raise awareness about the atrocities there. Stormcrow is influenced by a part of the Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien. LOTR is my favourite book ever and in my opinion the best book ever written, and alot of my influences come from it. Everyone mentioned in the song Stormcrow is based on a character from LOTR.

WM: And finally, what style are the songs written in?

LN: Both tracks are a mixtue of grunge, rock, emocore and post-rock. I think they're going to sound very nice when recorded.
Blessed Be,
ICHKERIA
